Web hosting features and remarks: HostRocket offers a good package at a reason price. But it only offers 5 GB of disk space, which is quite small at this price ($119.40 per year) while other web hosting providers would give you at least 10 GB. The number of subdomains you can have with their only web hosting package is unlimited, which is great. But they will give you only 10 free MySQL databases. So they are unbalanced. Currently, HostRocket has a limited-time-only special offer. They will give you 24 months of service at the price for one year sign-up. Just like other web hosting companies, HostRocket's support is not something that you can rely on. So you should have some experience in helping youself. This is what happened to us. HostRocket gives out a free subdomain account with small disk space. So we signed up out of curiosity. But we encountered a system error right after we filled out a registration form. We requsted assistance. We did again. And again... After one week, we never heard from them.
Updates The annual price hasn't changed, comparing it with what it was back in May. The only feature that has changed is the amount of disk space. It was only 5 GB back in May. Now, they offer 25 GB of disk space for the same price. February 13, 2007: Disk price increased from 25 to 100 GB with other features being changed.
