QuickTime Documentation Video: Microsoft Office Live Small Business Assists Nigerian Scam Group

The last report concerning Microsoft’s involvement with the Nigerian scam group has completely shocked us. But wait a second… Is Microsoft a web hosting company? Was it a mistake in concluding that world’s largest software company hosts e-mail servers for the Nigerian scam group? No, it was not.

Screenshot 01 shows the website run by Microsoft. It’s called Microsoft Office Live Small Business. Exploring the website, we are more shocked than before. Why? That’s because the company provides not just free e-mail accounts but also free web hosting space. (See Screenshot 02.)
We hate Google. We don’t like Yahoo!, either. Now, we don’t like Microsoft. We don’t like Google because they provide cyber criminals with tools. Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft give free e-mail accounts, blog and website space to cyber criminals. They don’t allocate a sufficient number of employees to bust accounts used by cyber criminals. Instead, they ask you and us to report abuse so that they can save money for labor and allocate more resources to making tools for Internet users including cyber criminals. No matter how hungry we get, we won’t cross the line between right and wrong as those three American companies do.
Our last report involved two domains used by the Nigerian scam group. Those two domains are
fbi.safetywatch@fedbureau-ofinvestigation.org and
remittance-department@centbnkng.com
And Microsoft’s employees cannot tell that Nigerian cyber criminals have registered these suspicious domains to scam innocent Internet users? Or they don’t have time to manually check every Office Live account? How important is it for Microsoft not to spend just several seconds and check validity for every account?
The following QuickTime documentation video goes over our last findings with audio commentary concerning Microsoft and two domains used by a cyber criminal group. The applications used in the video are
