TOKYO (MacHouse) - More than 10 hours ago, a spammer after affiliate money circulated at least one junk post to advertise an online pharmacy store. (See Screenshot 01.) 35 hyperlinks used by the spammer all point to the website of Antillean Adventist University in Puerto Rico. (Screenshot 02 shows the index page of Antillean Adventist University’s website.) It appears that they have created a subdirectory labeled uploads right under the directory for www subdomain and installed a dummy index page. (See Screenshot 03.)

Accessing any of the URLs mentioned by the spammer, one will be redirected to a junk online pharmacy store hosted at the domain of itsdrugstore.com. Screenshot 04 shows that the affiliate ID is 188.  It’s an online pharmacy store that we should all ignore because of its affiliation with career spammers.

Let’s quickly find out who is sponsoring this spam operation. The web server hosting the junk online pharmacy store at the domain of itsdrugstore.com is traced to the IP address of 91.208.162.5. We have mentioned this IP address two weeks ago. The web server is hosted by a Russian organization called RusDesign Ltd, according to RIPE. (See Screenshot 05.) What, are you desperate enough to buy your medications at an online store possibly run by Russians?
