TOKYO (MacHouse) – It’s been only a few hours since we reported last time that five official websites of musicians have been exploited. An organized cyber criminal organization has been circulating spam comments around blogs and forums all over the world to advertise another four websites that are affiliated with Sony BMG’s Myplay. (See Screenshot 01.)

The following is a list of exploited websites.

  • Augustana (www.augustanamusic.com)
  • Joshua Bell (www.joshuabell.com)
  • Mandi Perkins (www.mandiperkins.com)
  • Tori Amos (www.toriamosmusic.com)

  • We aren’t surprised to find out any more that these exploited music websites are all hosted by a San Antonio-based web hosting called rackspace Hosting.
