TOKYO (MacHouse) – We have found a new exploitation scheme that will eventually lead Internet users to a new fake antivirus scan website located at scanner.vav-scanner.com. This fake new anti-virus scan website is designed to sell malware title called Vista Antivirus 2008, utilizing a series of free webpages created at Lycos.
This new exploitation scheme seems to attack vulnerability found on Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 through a web browser.
If you are a Windows user, you are strongly advised not to visit websites at lycos.de and lycos.it.
