Popular Social Networking Website BEBO.COM Hacked, Redirecting Internet Users to Porn Website

TOKYO (MacHouse) - We ran across a social networking website called Bebo (www.bebo.com) about 2 hours ago. (Screenshot 01 shows its index page.) According to its website, Bebo “is the next generation social networking service where members can stay in touch with their College friends, connect with friends, share photos, discover new interests and just hang out.” According to Amazon.com-owned Alexa, bebo.com’s Alexa traffic rank is 114. And bebo’s daily number of visitors is about 480,000. (See Screenshot 02.) The company behind this website is located in San Francisco. Nonetheless, a majority of its visitors seem to come from the U.K. Bebo is the 5th most popular website among the Irish, and 7th among New Zealanders. (See Screenshot 03.)
So why are we talking about this social networking website? A cyber scum group has hacked this website and installed malicious codes/files. Consequently, http://secure.bebo.com is used as a redirection point for a porn website.

Bebo appears to have a subdomain labeled ’secure.’ Sarcastically speaking, this subdomain website is no longer secure. A cyber terrorist group has hacked the website and installed ill codes/files. (See Screenshot 04.) Consequently, this website is used to redirect Internet users to a porn website. The sponsor behind this exploitation operation is Incest Reviews, whose website is located at http://incestreviews.com. (See Screenshot 05.)
