TOKYO (MacHouse) - According to Wikipedia, Camera Obscura is the name of a British band. (See Screenshot 01.) It says they are from Glasgow, Scotland. We know little about music. And we never heard of this music band till today. Their official website can be found at camera-obscura.net. (See Screenshot 02.) This website is among a dozen websites victimized in the latest exploitation scheme, which we call ‘?sitemap’ hack exploitation.

As we reported in the last article, Camera Obscura’s website is hosted by Rackspace Managed Hosting, whose headquarters are located in San Antonio, Texas. Accessing any of the spam webpages installed at camera-obscura.net is likely to redirect you to a fake anti-virus scan website hosted at antivirus-scanner.com and force you to download a file contain a computer virus. So be careful.
